BISOUS.

The storm yesterday was just awful. Can I just mention how soaked through I was. I mean - wet undergarments and all. The FIT campus was having a panic attack. It's not like we haven't seen rain before. It's just that all of our lovingly crafted outfits probably haven't. I ended up using my portfolio as an umbrella. Who even needs to preserve 50+ hours of work?
So I took advantage of today's comfortable temperatures to wear this black jumpsuit from Zara (which, although lightweight, would have made my legs much too stuffy two days ago). I love a quick, simple one piece, even though this makes it a million times harder to use the bathroom. I literally take up to ten minutes in the stall.
Today was both tiring and enjoyable for me. I finished my last day of week two of classes, did some shopping, had a nice evening with the girls, and consumed enough sugar to give diabetes to the whole world. After a long, peaceful taxi ride home and several band-aids for my feet, I'm all curled up in bed with my laptop. More or less that synopsis of every day that I've been here in NYC. A lot of walking and a lot of schoolwork and then winding down with either writing a blog post or catching up on other blogs that I've been behind on. And although my feet are never going to forgive me, I've really been enjoying these past couple weeks.

Started the morning with the usual coffee and macaron.

My first class, which is a figure drawing class, went to check out artwork from three artists at an art gallery. There were some really stunning pieces in there.

We presented our projects in my second class. I think it went well, so we'll see. We went out for a girl's night to celebrate, but first we went for a little snack at a cafe (mmm, oreo brownie) and quite a bit of shopping at American Apparel.

After shopping, we headed to Alice and her friend's rooftop again for some outfit photographing.

(Adeline's gorgeous shoes are from Zara, fyi)

Dinner at Orsay! I enjoyed it, but this was one of the very few times I've had French cuisine. The French girls thought it was good, so it probably was.
Also, anyone know of any good Greek places in Manhattan? Greek is my favorite and I only know of a couple Greek places nearby.
Us girls at Laduree. Alice is behind the camera (:

And so concludes this Thursday evening.
I really ought to catch up on some sleep.

Bisous bisous!
