GOODBYE, NY - HELLO, NC.

Goodbye, NY - Hello, NC. 

Missing New York, but I'm happy to be back in NC. I've been sick these past couple days so I haven't been able to really enjoy being back home, but I'm looking forward to seeing my NC girls and enjoying the perfect summer weather here. But until I'm not so coughy and germ-spread-y, I've been editing some NY posts that I didn't have time to deal with earlier and listening to a nonstop playlist of Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, etc. Gets me in a good southern summer mood.  I missed having a country music station while in NY.

This is a pretty short outfit post so I've tacked on a bunch of various photos from the New York trip.

My lazy summer outfit is usually a tee and maxi skirt. Plus flat sandals. Walking through Central Park in heels wasn't really an option.

1. I have too many copies of Jane Eyre, but I still love them all. 2. Times Square 3. I felt the need to be a tourist and eat a pretzel 4. Goodies from MAC 5. DL1961 showroom. Caught a glimpse of the Bag Snob X DL1961 collaboration coming out this fall. There were a pair of burgundy jeans with a waxed pocket that were just too perfect.

1. Classmate brought in an original sketch by Mark Badlegy and James Mischka. Plus some Mark + James mints. We fangirled.  2. Starbucks fuel 3. Adorable little cafe that has food named after clothing labels. 4. Delicious little mid-class treats. 5. Versace panini
